Should we believe in horoscopes?

Many people believe in horoscopes. The reason for this is that they tend to confuse a true belief with knowledge proper. Horoscope claims are sometimes true. If my horoscope says that I will meet a dark and handsome stranger, and I actually do meet a dark and handsome stranger, my horoscope claim is true. And because of what the horoscope tells me, if I believe that I will meet a dark and handsome stranger, and I do, then my horoscope claim is a true belief. However, this true belief is accidentally true, for there is no justification or reason to believe in a strong connection between the horoscope claim and the actual event of meeting a dark and handsome stranger. Only if horoscope claims are true and justified beliefs should we believe in horoscopes.
